A New Essay Sample Approach

A New Essay Sample ApproachIn the last couple of years, the IAS Essay samples are going through a big change. It used to be that the Essay samples of the last few years were presented in a well organized manner, which helped students to retain the information. This did not work so well because it does not provide the student with the structure required. There was no proper definition of the topic, or any attempt to make sense of the question, and the context was not clearly defined. Moreover, there was no detailed analysis of the questions or the syllabus. The Essay samples present in the past had very little analysis or discussion. Thus, students did not know what to do.These changes have led to students becoming frustrated because the traditional Essay samples have lost the sense of clarity and make the task even more difficult, as the lack of understanding makes the questions look like they should be answered differently. The change is mainly due to the fact that the IAS Essay samp les were presenting the questions as a part of the syllabus. While this was fine in the beginning, now students must know the answer. The Essay samples presented in the past failed to explain the true nature of an essay. Students were not aware of the different elements of an essay. They thought that an essay was simply a linear process of reading from the syllabus. As a result, the task of writing an essay became an easy task. Thus, instead of learning how to write an essay, students simply read and copy down information from their syllabus and their notes. The Essay samples provided in the past tended to be straightforward. However, they were not clear about the sequence and nature of the questions. The content of the questions in the past had no structure.Students also learned new ways of thinking. Since the Essay samples tended to show the material from the syllabus first, then giving examples, and only after answering the question, they were getting information they were not getti ng in the syllabus. They were becoming increasingly confused by the lack of order. In the last couple of years, the IAS Essay samples have changed drastically. The new Essay samples are much easier to understand and are much more suited to the real world.
